Summit Launches It's First Public Fund
30/05/2011
Summit Asset Management and it's strategic business partner SQN Capital Management, have now receceived regulatory approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission to launch the first Public Fund ("SQN III").
The Fund has now broken escrow, and will provide additional capital for Summit to expand it's lending capacity within it's core European and North American markets.
SQN III is being jointly managed by both Summit and SQN.
The Fund’s investment strategy will be to invest in business-essential, revenue-producing assets, which are considered to have a material in-place value and a relatively long economic life. Investments made are expected to include a mixture of single investor and leveraged leases.
The Fund will be targeting assets that have multiple and/or varied industry applications and with active secondary markets. It will be primarily an asset investor rather than credit investor.
