NHS Operating Lease Panel

Summit has been appointed to the panel of medical financiers that may be utilised by orgainisations that are part of the United Kingdom's National Health Service ("NHS"), when they are seeking to acquire medical equipment using Operating Leasing. The appointment, following a Tender conducted by NHS Supply Chain was submitted on April 30th, with NHS Supply Chain advising Summit (and other successful applicants) had been appointed this week.
Assets that will be subject to the funding process encompass a diverse range of equipment that includes beds, large medical equipment (i.e. MRI), IT, car parks and medical instruments - all of which are assets that Summit has previously funded within the health sector.
The NHS has been seeking to expand it's panel of funders, with the intent of creating more financial capacity, pricing competition and choice for those NHS organisations that are planning to use leasing to acquire those assets needed to deliver healthcare services to the UK general poulation.
