During 2009 Summit continued the expansion of those territories within which it can deliver compliant Operating Lease facilities by adding the Scandinavian region to those already supported. The ability to provide Operating Leasing has been effective since July 2009, with the first material sized transaction being funded in Q1 2010. The portfolio of transactions has continued to grow during the second quarter.Already in 2010 Summit has delivered compliant Operating Lease structures to business entities located within both Finland and Sweden and Summit’s business development team is currently appraising the compliance issues necessary to allow the company to support the remaining Scandinavian countries of Norway and Denmark, should satisfactory business opportunities be identified.
The Operating Lease facilities that have been provided utilise Master Lease structures with multiple equipment schedules. The facilities can also accommodate multiple equipment suppliers from within the region or shipping equipment from regions that include North America and the Far East, in addition to equipment supplied from within the central Euro Zone.
